A short “Chitra Purvaranga” was choreographed based on the research and study of the 5th chapter of the Natya Sastra, to suit the “Nandi Sloka” and “Introduction of the play” “Abhjnana Shakuntalam”, of Kalidasa. This Marga technique has been adapted to the Desi form of the ‘Palki’ in the Marathi production “Bhakta Sakha Vitthala,’in the form of the Chitra Purvaranga.

‘Darus’ taken from King Shahaji’s and Sarfoji’s Marathi dance dramas have been choreographed as padams.

The study and reconstruction of certain desi karanas mentioned in the “Sangita Ratnakara” of Saranga Deva, “Nrittaratnavali”of Jayasenapati, “Nrithyadhyaya”of Ashokamalla and “Bharatarnava” of Nandikesvara and other allied texts are in progress.

“Birth of Dhanvantri” – a dance portrayal on the origin of Indian Medicine, for the delegates at the International conference on Blood Transfusion was undertaken.

“Doha” and “Chaupayee” from Tulsi Ramayan have been set into a varnam format to create a padavarnam, in a combination of Carnatic and Hindustani Ragas. Even the jathis and svarams are composed and choregraphed in keeping with the mood with relevant karanas to convey the vakhyartha abhinaya.
